„Techno with a touch of cinematic“
Marc Zimmermann, born 1984, co-owner from Brickwork-Recordings and Booking , was lost in music since his early years.He began playing trumpet and piano, but fast he got also interested in electronic music. Influenced by names like Jean Michel Jarre, Kraftwerk but also from Soundtrack by Artist like
Hans Zimmer or John Barry, and the beginnings of techno in the early 90th he started before 5 years producing own technoid stuff. In march 2010 he founded Brickwork-Recordings to push his ideas about the dark way of techno he prefers to play on gigs.
2010 he worked hard to establish the label in the techno-scene and with his partner Stephan Koenigk together he brought it on the right way by presenting
the first releases which got big support by artists like Simina Griguriu, Roné, A-Brothers, Octave, Michael Schwarz, Simon Hi-Shock, Audio injection, Knobs, Trebor and many more dj’s worldwide.
As a direct consequence results starting the Booking-Side of Brickwork, also Label-Nights are planned in 2011 so the work never ends. In the meantime he found the time to produce some new tracks which will be released the next months on Brickwork but also on several other labels, so keep your ears and eyes open for what will be coming throughout this year.
